Karoline Burg

Karoline joined Filoramo Talsma Architecture in 2015. Her prior experience involves design in residential, mixed use, hospitality, and CPS Academic. During her time at IIT, Karoline interned at an architectural metal fabrication laboratory where she assisted in fabrication, design and model making, and leading a design workshop. Karoline studied one semester abroad in Paris, France. The program enabled her to travel and study architecture in many countries including Italy, Austria, Denmark, and Netherlands.

Outside of the office, Karoline enjoys applying her creativity to other artistic ventures such as graphic design, card design and painting. In her free time, Karoline likes to indulge in Chicago’s new restaurants, participate in intramural summer sports, and attend events at Chicago’s art museums.

Karoline is working towards becoming a licensed architect.
