Vegas Residence

Located in a gated community on the edge of the city, the site was selected with views of the mountains on the north and the Vegas Strip to south. Passive solar design was utilized to frame views and save energy – Overhanging roof lines block the sun on the south + east exposures while the north side allows for open views of the mountains. The site steps down toward the rear mountain views which is framed by the L-shaped plan of the main home with an inner pool court created by the placement of the 2-story guest house.
