Revel Motor Row
Located within the historic Motor Row District, the project consists of the comprehensive renovation of a 60,000 sq. foot Chicago Landmark building into an event center for Revel Events. The building was originally constructed as the Illinois Automobile Club in 1935 and later served as headquarters for the Chicago Defender Newspaper. The renovation seeks to restore the interior spaces with strategic adaptation for operation as an event center. The exterior & interior details are being faithfully restored in cooperation with Chicago Landmarks and the Illinois State Historic Preservation Office. A variety of event spaces and meeting rooms distributed on three floors will provide a dynamic and unique setting for the needs of Revel’s clients. In addition a large central courtyard will provide space for outdoor events.
